You
are restricted to TWO entries in separate categories. |
|
|
|
2. |
Only
entries from current Year 7 to 13 students who have been under
the supervision of a teacher in a school setting may enter. |
|
|
3. |
LATE
ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Entry Forms must be sent to Jean Wallace
at Mount Maunganui College, Mount Mauganui Road, Mount Maunganui by Friday,
July 2nd (end of term 2). |

|
4. |
Garments
are to be given to your teachers to take to Bay Court or sent to Jean Wallace at Mount Maunganui College
by Wednesday 11th August 2010, between 9am and 3pm. |
|
|
5. |
Late
garments will not be accepted. |
|
|
6. |
Every
care will be taken while the garments are in the hands of the organisers.
However they will take no responsibility for any loss or damage that
may be sustained. |
|
|
7. |
All
entrants must have the entry form signed by the teacher, ie Technology
or Art teacher at their school.
|
|
|
8. |
Garments/outfits
will be subject to a selection process after delivery to ensure they
meet the criteria set out and maintain a high standard
of quality. If your garments/outfit has NOT been selected to be part
of the show you will be notified by Wednesday 5th August. |

|
9. |
All
students must sign a statement of authenticity (included
with Entry Form ~ download Entry Form PDF). |
|
|
10. |
All
students will receive a certificate of participation. |

|
11. |
All
entries must be durable as they may be worn more than once, fit through
a standard doorway, not too heavy, and safe for models to wear. |
|
|
12. |
Judges
decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into. |
|
|
13. |
If
entrants are not modeling their own garments they must arrange their
own models. This must be noted on the entry form with the full name of
the model. |
|
|
14. |
Backstage
passes will be distributed to entrants on receipt of garment(s). |
|
|
15. |
Sections
may be split into Year 11, Year 12 and Year 13 depending upon entry
numbers. |
|
|
16. |
NO alcohol, smoking or disruptive behaviour will be accepted. Any such behaviour
will result in immediate disqualification. This will be at
the discretion of the organisers. |
|
|
17. |
All
entrants must collect their garments at the end of the evening. |
|
|
18. |
Second
and Third prizes will be awarded at the discretion of the Convenor
according to the number of section/category entries. |
|
|
19. |
All
entrants and models are required to attend the rehearsal at Bay Court on the Saturday afternoon of the show. |
|
|
20. |
Entrants
must be prepared to answer brief questions from judges if asked. |
|
|
21. |
All
entries must be accompanied with a completed 'Hanger Sheet' (included
with Entry Form ~ download Entry Form PDF). |

|
22. |
Any
photo's presented with entry forms must not identify the model or maker |
|
|
23. |
Global
Connexions organising committee reserve the right to disqualify any person
breaking these conditions |
